Why Accessible Architecture?

Because Architecture and accessibility must not be separated.

By accessible, we obviously mean the possibility of access for all: disabled people (physical, sensory, cognitive, mental or psychological disabilities), elderly people, people with a temporary disability, mothers with a stroller, etc.

But we also want to integrate the notion of social accessibility: each of us has the right to a dignified living environment.

Finally, we emphasize the notion of financial accessibility. Too many individuals wishing to build or extend a detached house are still convinced that working with an architect is too expensive. Houses created by an architect are not reserved for wealthy people, solutions exist, let's talk about them!

The agency was created in 2010, it is managed by Aude VASPART, Architect D.P.L.G (Graduated by the Government). Graduate of the Paris-Val-de-Seine School of Architecture, approved by the National Center of Expertise for the diagnosis of disabled accessibility in ERPs and municipalities. Trained in the new thermal regulations and authorized to establish thermal studies.

The agency is a member of the Urban Art association in the Territories, an association recognized as being of public utility, for the promotion of Urban Art, Urban Art being extended to the sense of urban composition. The partnership with this association allows us:

• To contribute to defending values ​​that are dear to us: controlled composition of the city, work in multidisciplinary teams, promotion of architectural quality (integration of buildings into their environment, respect for the history of places and constructions, treatment of public space, etc.), promotion of the quality of social life (taking into account control of use, consultation, accessibility, etc.) and respect for the environment (risk management, respect for biodiversity, waste management, nuisances and pollution, etc.)
• To be at the heart of a multidisciplinary network of living environment professionals (architects, town planners, economists, landscapers, surveyors, developers, design offices, etc.) that we can call on if necessary for a specific project.
