More than just an architectural studio, Alba Urba specialises in the interaction of the built environment with the external development and design of public spaces.

Founded in 2018 by architect and urban planner Audrey Lanoix Bertrand, Alba Urba was born out of various experiences in urban planning with architects and landscape architects in the region, specialising in the new challenges of soft mobility. These renowned agencies have enabled Audrey Lanoix Bertrand to develop large-scale projects while remaining attentive to conscious architecture and bold urban projects. Concerned about the constructed and natural environment, her urban planning approach places mobility as the backbone of any development project.

With its dual architectural and urban vision, Alba Urba is a privileged partner in responding to the problems of tomorrow's small towns. Based in Alsace, the workshop's primary ambition is to build the city of tomorrow through soft and sustainable mobility. They meet the requirements of a wide range of architectural, urban and landscape projects, from the development of public spaces to major landscape infrastructures, on a regional city scale.
